Krishna's flute
my heart lay beside
pallid waters
where lotus once grew
I was inconsolable
without
you
The anguish
the pain was like
incessant rain
and I feared
I would Never
see you
again Then
I heard the flute
its silver notes
meandering fields
of golden
grain
Suddenly
from the dieing embers
in my heart
emerged a Brilliant flame
and from Yours
a Phoenix flew
And our love would
Never
be the same
